Where RoofCalc is different

  • Measured from the address. No order to place, no roof to draw, no site visit. You get roof area, facets and complexity in the app.

    How it works
  • Roof data on paid plans, a fallback on every plan. Paid plans try Google Solar building data first, which includes the sloped roof segments and their pitch. Every plan falls back to OpenStreetMap building footprints. Solar results from leaf-on (summer) imagery are skipped in favour of the fallback.

    How it works
  • One monthly price. Contractor Pro is $49 a month for 100 measurements, not a fee per report. If you use all 100, that is $0.49 a measurement. Paid plans are not on sale yet.

  • A free plan to try it. Free: 2 measurements when you sign up, from OpenStreetMap building footprints.
